SUMMARY

A prestigious 4 Star hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced and hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead all Food & Beverage operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving service excellence, leading departmental teams, and ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of all Food & Beverage outlets. This role is suited to a passionate hospitality professional with a proven track record in quality-driven hotel environments.

POSITION INFO

REQUIREMENT: RSA ID and legal residence essential Minimum 2 years' experience as a Food & Beverage Manager within a 4 or 5 Star hotel Proven leadership and team management experience Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, service standards, and cost controls Excellent guest relations and communication skills Proven track record of achieving outstanding guest satisfaction and positive TripAdvisor reviews Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, stock control, and cost management Ability to train, mentor, and develop staff Own reliable transport advantageous KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the daily operation of all Food & Beverage outlets Ensure exceptional guest service and consistently high service standards Lead, train, and motivate the Food & Beverage team Manage staffing, rosters, and departmental performance Monitor budgets, stock control, purchasing, and food and beverage costs Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally Drive service excellence and continuous operational improvement Work closely with the Executive Chef and senior management to achieve business objectives PACKAGE: R35,000 per month (Negotiable) Live-out position LOCATION: Cape Town - Western Cape
