Tax Manager (Sandton)

Well established and achieving, medium sized Financial Servicies company based in Sunninghill has an amazing opportunity for a Tax Manager. Candidate must be passionate and upto date with Tax laws and a great leader! Lovely firm with great team dynamics.

• Managing a group of Tax Consultants and a Tax Administrator.
• Must be target and deadline driven to make sure that the department meets all said targets and SARS deadlines.
• Good communication skills needed to deal with clients, SARS, staff and Partners.
• Compile Tax calculations for all entities. Completion of Tax Returns for all entities including indviduals.
• Completion of IRP6 Provisional Tax Returns for all entities.
• Issuing of IRP5/IT3 certificates and completion of EMP501 reconcilliations.
• Deal with tax audits and queries raised by SARS including objections.
• Reviewing all tax returns for all entities before SARS submission.
• Reviewing of income tax assessments and other taxation admin functions.
• Compile Tax Opinions.
• Tax Consultations and providing Tax Advice to clients.
• High Level Disputes with SARS including tax legal process Tax emigration and knowledge on foreign tax/ Double tax treatments Trust knowledge including IT3T returns
• Submissions of Dividend tax, STT, Customs applications.
• VAT/PAYE audits, objections, review and understand assessments and identify mistakes.
• Advanced experince in E filing functions and administration.
• Experience in the follwing an advantage : Greatsoft, Easyfile, excel All statutory registrations.

Minimum of 5 years expereince in a Management role (Broad spectrum of assignments in the fields of taxation and admin functions)

Experience a consulting enviroment is essential

Own car and valid license

Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans

Must be a tax practitioner or able to register soon

BCom degree with Tax or Advanced Certificate in Tax or Hdip Tax Qualification

Candidates living in the North will be given preference

R50 000 (CTC) per month (Slightly negotiable)
