Are you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges across a variety of business environments?
A well-established and diverse group of companies is looking for a proactive
IT Systems Administrator to manage and support IT infrastructure across multiple business units in Durbanville.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting office users, technical operations, and creative teams while taking ownership of infrastructure, security, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first- and second-line IT support for onsite and remote users.
Configure, deploy and maintain desktops, laptops and IT equipment.
Manage Microsoft 365 users, licensing, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
Administer network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless access points and internet connectivity.
Install, configure and maintain CCTV and IP camera systems.
Manage email platforms, DNS records, domains and email security.
Maintain antivirus, endpoint security, backups and disaster recovery processes.
Support collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Assist with boardroom AV equipment and media-related technology.
Maintain accurate IT documentation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support IT projects across multiple business units.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (or relevant industry certifications).
Minimum
3 years' experience in IT Support or Systems Administration.
Strong knowledge of
Windows 10 & 11
Microsoft 365 Administration
Network troubleshooting
DNS and email management
Backup solutions
Endpoint security
Hardware deployment and upgrades
Remote support tools
Experience with CCTV/IP camera systems will be advantageous.
Advantageous Experience
Zoho Administration
VMware or Hyper-V
Synology NAS
Basic scripting or automation
Supporting multi-site operations
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva or creative environments
Key Competencies
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong communication with both technical and non-technical users
Ability to manage multiple priorities across different business environments
