Machine Operator Location: JHB - Eastern Suburbs - Alrode - Gauteng Type: Contractor Overview: We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating production machinery in accordance with standard procedures. Your role will involve monitoring machine performance, conducting inspections, and ensuring product quality within manufacturing Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate production machinery following standard operating procedures (SOPs) Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain product quality Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on machinery Identify and report equipment malfunctions or defects to the maintenance team Ensure products meet quality specifications through regular inspections Record production data, machine downtime, and quality results accurately Maintain a clean work area in line with 5S principles Comply with health, safety, environmental, and company policies Minimise waste and support continuous improvement initiatives Assist with changeovers, machine cleaning, and production line start-ups Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality teams Skills and Qualifications: Qualifications: Grade 12 2-3 years as a Machine Operator in manufacturing Good communication skills Sectors: Engineering and Technical, Manufacturing Functions: Engineering, Technical, Production & Manufacturing If you meet the requirements and are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply now!
