A career opportunity exists at INSIMBI FREIGHT (division of REINHARDT TRANSPORT GROUP) NIGEL for the position of:

FLEET CONTROLLER

  • Oversee all aspects of fleet management (productivity, wages, fuel consumption, route planning, etc.)
  • Assign and ensure execution of tasks to drivers, trucks and different Subcontractors.
  • Track orders and deliveries
  • Constant monitoring of driver and vehicle performance and efficiency & find ways to improve productivity.
  • Co-ordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is maintained, including scheduling of services and COF inspections for vehicles to remain in safe and roadworthy condition.
  • Become competent and proficient in the TMS system.
  • Route Planning
  • Client Liaison
  • Matric
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Computer literate
  • Excel (compulsory)
  • Experience in fleet management (controller) will be an advantage
  • Experience in Subcontractor Management will be an advantage
  • Own Transport
  • Sober habits
  • Willing to work long hours, public holidays, and weekends

Competitive salary - Minimum R156 000 per annum to be discussed during the interview
