SUMMARY

A leading debt recovery and debt management firm is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with solid bookkeeping experience who is eager to grow within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for a high-volume book.

POSITION INFO

Job Description: Perform full bookkeeping functions up to trial balance Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts Capture and maintain accurate financial records Assist with monthly management accounts and reporting requirements Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures Work on a monthly book value of approximately R25 million Utilize Sage and Sage VIP systems for daily financial operations Assist with audit preparation and financial administration Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years' bookkeeping experience Experience working with high-volume financial transactions Proficient in Sage and Sage VIP Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities Strong communication and organizational skills Must reside in Cape Town Qualification: Diploma in Finance or related qualification preferred Connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
