Professional Architect - Cape Town

Our client, a respected architectural practice based in Stellenbosch, is seeking an experienced Professional Architect to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a design-focused professional to work on a range of architectural projects while taking ownership of project delivery within a collaborative studio environment.

The successful candidate will have strong design and technical capabilities, with the ability to independently manage projects from concept through to completion while working under the guidance of senior team members.

• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of project delivery.

• Strong communication and project coordination skills.

• Lead and manage architectural projects through various design stages.

• Develop innovative design solutions while maintaining technical excellence.

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, documentation and submissions.

• Prepare and manage local authority submissions.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants and project teams.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Professional Architect registration with SACAP.

• Minimum of 12 years’ architectural experience.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience

• Strong design and detailing experience across architectural projects.

• Experience managing projects independently from concept through documentation and delivery.

• Experience with local authority submissions and approval processes.

• Ability to coordinate project requirements and deliver high-quality technical documentation.

• Additional architectural software knowledge will be advantageous.
