As a Graduate: People Operations (HR) Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting various People Operations functions, including recruitment, learning & development related administration, employee relations administration, general HR administration support. Being part of a strong team and culture by empowering, learning, and appreciating each other. Working together to reach and exceed business objectives.

This role is based at the Econo Foods central office in Cape Town (Bellville/Tygervalley) - so applicants MUST be based or live in Cape Town.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with general HR administration support for the People Operations team
  • Assist with recruitment process - posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
  • Process employee onboarding and offboarding paperwork, including new hire orientation and exit
  • Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
  • Prepare People Ops reports and analytics if needed.
  • Growing & Maintaining the Ho Hola culture.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

1. Must have the following completed qualification National Diploma (NQF-6) or BCom degree (NQF-7) in...

  • Human Resources management
  • Business Administration

2. Some knowledge or exposure to using MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).

Important information to take note

  • The Graduate program is for a duration of 12 months (fixed term contract)
  • Must have completed/graduated in one of the above fields (Diploma or Degree - NQF Level 6 / 7)
  • Avaialble to start asap in August 2026
  • Available full time ( Monday -Friday)
  • Not actively enrolled in another study program (Learnership/Internship/Graduate Programme) especialy with the W&RSETA
  • Passionate, hardworking, wanting to grow and learn
  • Building your career in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry (FMCG).
  • Salary is R5 500 per month (as per the SETA Stipend for HET Degree Graduates)
  • Must be of Youth age between 20 - 35 years old
