Mid-Level Interior Designer - Cape Town

Our client, a leading interior design studio, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Interior Designer to join their Cape Town team on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-end interior environments and specialised projects within a creative and collaborative studio setting.

The successful candidate will have strong conceptual design abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for creating thoughtfully designed spaces. You will be involved throughout the full design process, from concept development and client presentations through to technical detailing, sourcing and project coordination.

• Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent design, technical and presentation skills.

• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes and interior detailing.

• Proficiency in Revit.

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Passion for creating impactful and meaningful spaces.

• Develop creative interior design concepts and solutions.

• Prepare client presentations and design documentation.

• Produce detailed drawings and coordinate technical requirements.

• Research and source materials, finishes and furniture selections.

• Assist with project coordination from concept through completion.

• Collaborate with clients, consultants and internal design teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Interior Design or a related field.

• 3–5 years’ industry experience.

• Proficiency in Revit is essential.

Experience

• Experience working on high-end interior design projects.

• Strong understanding of materials, finishes and spatial planning.

• Experience developing design concepts and presenting ideas to clients.

• Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and coordinate project requirements.

• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced studio environment.
