Architectural Technologist - Cape Town

Our client, a well-established and independently owned architectural practice, is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their growing teams in Cape Town and Johannesburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional to contribute to large-scale commercial developments while working within a respected architectural studio.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the technical delivery of projects, producing high-quality documentation and collaborating with architects, consultants and project teams to bring innovative designs to life.

Key Skills

• Advanced Revit proficiency.

• Strong technical documentation skills.

• Good understanding of construction processes and building regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Produce detailed technical drawings, documentation and construction information.

• Assist with the delivery of projects across various design stages.

• Coordinate architectural documentation with consultants and project teams.

• Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

• Support architects and project teams throughout the design and construction process.

• Contribute to the successful delivery of quality architectural projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology.

• SACAP registration as a Professional Senior Architectural Technologist, or eligibility for registration, is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Revit is essential.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience.

• Experience working on commercial and large-scale building projects.

• Strong experience producing technical drawings and construction documentation.

• Experience coordinating architectural information with consultants and contractors.

• Exposure to complex projects and high-profile developments will be advantageous.
