POSITION INFO

Job Purpose: To safely erect, alter, inspect (where authorized), and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with engineering specifications, safety regulations, and company procedures. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent Scaffolding Competency Certificate Working at Heights Certificate 2-3 years' scaffolding experience Medically fit Knowledge of tube-and-fitting and system scaffolding Ability to read scaffold drawings (advantageous) Key Responsibilities: Erect scaffolding according to approved drawings. Dismantle scaffolding safely. Modify existing scaffold structures. Inspect scaffold components before use. Ensure scaffolds comply with legal and client requirements. Install ladders, handrails, toe boards, and access platforms. Secure scaffolding using appropriate ties and bracing. Report damaged equipment. Maintain safe working practices. Complete assigned work within project timelines.
