Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their beverage manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, improving plant reliability, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults

Conduct routine equipment inspections and condition monitoring

Support machinery installations, upgrades, and commissioning projects

Ensure production equipment operates efficiently and safely

Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

Adhere to health, safety, food safety, and quality standards

Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and plant performance

Minimum Requirements

Matric

Millwright/ Electrician Trade Test

3 - 5 Years maintenance experience in the beverage, food, or FMCG manufacturing industry

Fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

Preventative maintenance systems and manufacturing equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

Communication and problem-solving skills

Work shifts
