SUMMARY

Our client, a leading travel and tourism organisation, is seeking a dynamic Product & Contracting Executive to join their team in Johannesburg. This role is ideal for a proactive, commercially driven individual who enjoys negotiating, building strong relationships, developing travel products, and working in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier negotiations, developing destination-specific products, maintaining key partnerships, and ensuring exceptional travel experiences for customers.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and partners. Develop and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships. Research, develop, and manage travel products for specific destinations. Review, interpret, and manage commercial agreements, contracts, and service level agreements. Ensure products remain competitive and aligned with market trends. Identify opportunities for product improvement and new destination development. Work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Solve problems proactively and provide practical solutions. Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel and work outside standard office hours when required. Minimum Requirements & Skills: Previous experience in product development, contracting, travel, tourism, or a related commercial environment. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Experience reading and interpreting contracts, commercial agreements, and SLAs. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dynamic, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven approach. Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
