Manage and oversee daily health and safety activities on site.
Identify hazard and other unsafe work practices on site.
Ensure corrective measures with regard to all unsafe practices.
Drive compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and all site safety procedures.
Ensure that employees, contractors, visitors and other people who enter the site are wearing correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Conduct regular Health and Safety meeting and trainings, and keep records of such.
Ensure Health and Safety signage on site are erected , visible and adhered to.
Investigate all site workplace incident, accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.
Maintain Health and Safety records, documentations, control registers and other information for audits and referral purposes.
Ensure daily housekeeping at workplace and enforce accountability.
