SUMMARY

Brotherton Property Holdings is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our residential and commercial properties in Makhanda. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance tasks and ensuring that properties remain in good condition at all times.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Perform tiling repairs and installations as required. Carry out basic plumbing repairs and maintenance. Maintain gardens and outdoor areas, including general landscaping duties. Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance requirements. Attend to general building maintenance and minor repair work. Coordinate and prioritise maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion. Respond to emergency maintenance call-outs when required. Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are maintained in a safe and orderly condition. Report maintenance issues and completed work to management. Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years' relevant maintenance experience . Practical experience in: Tiling Basic plumbing Gardening and grounds maintenance Valid South African driver's licence. Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physically fit and able to perform manual maintenance tasks. Must be willing and available to participate in an after-hours call-out roster . Reliable, trustworthy and professional. Preferred Attributes Knowledge of general property maintenance. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. What We Offer Competitive salary ranging from R8 500 to R10 000 per month .
