Are you a passionate junior maintenance professional with experience in a production environment?

We are looking for skilled South African technicians ready to take the next step in their careers in the Netherlands.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong balance of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience within food, manufacturing, or agricultural production environments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production line machinery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
  • Work on conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays, and frequency drives
  • Read and fault-find on PLC systems (Siemens experience is a strong advantage)
  • Support welding and general technical repairs where required
  • Ensure machines operate efficiently with minimal downtime
  • Work within a structured shift system

What you bring

  • Red Seal (Trade Tested) – Millwright/ Electrician/Fitter OR N5 / N6 qualification with relevant experience
  • 2–5 years’ experience in a food, manufacturing, agricultural, or production environment
  • Strong all-round experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Experience with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, and welding
  • PLC reading and faultfinding experience (Siemens is a plus)
  • Experience with preventative maintenance systems
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (essential – company language is Dutch)
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Willing to work shifts

What we offer

  • 2-year contract (40 hours per week)
  • Gross salary of approximately €4,300 per month
  • 25 paid holidays per year (+ potential ADV days)
  • Up to 7 paid public holidays per year
  • Holiday allowance of 8.33% of gross annual salary (paid in May)
  • Overtime and shift allowances paid accordingly
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (home–work travel)
  • Full relocation guidance and support
