Ladieswear Production Manager and Merchandiser

PLEASE NOTE: This is a Senior to Management level position. Therefore, 7 to 9 years (or more) experience is required as a fully fledged Ladieswear Merchandiser and Production Coordinator with 2 of those years in a senior or manager role.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Liaison with buyers/clients and manufacturers (local & international depending on portfolio).
• Ensure Correct Planning and Costing.
• Responsible for managing product developments / sample development for the respective clients / portfolio.
• Managing production (local and imports), tracking and critical path timelines across multiple product categories.
• Coordinating fabric, trims, and raw material procurement.
• Overseeing product development from concept through to production.
• Supporting merchandising, planning, and customer requirements.
• Conducting quality assurance processes, including sampling and supplier communication.
• Managing shipping timelines and coordinating with forwarders.
• Negotiating pricing and maintaining profitability targets.
• Working closely with buyers, designers, suppliers, and factories to ensure on-time delivery.

• This is a Senior to Management level position. Therefore, 7 to 9 years (or more) experience is required as a fully fledged Fashion Merchandiser or Clothing Production Manager, with 2 of those years in a senior or manager role.

• Fashion related Degree or Diploma.
• Must have both Local & Import experience.

Due to the seniority of this position the salary is negotiable and will be dependent on years of relevant experience, current job level, tertiary education, skills, relevant product industry experience, etc.)
