Qualifications and experience

BEng/BSc Engineering (Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering)

2 to 5 years' relevant consulting engineering experience in water sector

Professional registration with ECSA, or active progression towards registration, will be advantageous.

A genuine interest in water and/or wastewater treatment design

Exposure to any of the following will be advantageous

  • Potable Water Treatment Works
  • Wastewater Treatment Works
  • Water reuse schemes
  • Sludge treatment and handling
  • Industrial water treatment
  • Desalination
  • Pump stations

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

You will work as part of multidisciplinary teams assisting with:

  • Process and hydraulic design
  • Treatment plant planning and assessments
  • Preparation of reports, drawings and specifications
  • Hydraulic and process modelling
  • Technical calculations
  • Construction support
  • Commissioning and performance testing
  • Client engagement and technical meetings
