Qualifications and experience

BEng/BSc Engineering (Civil)

Minimum 5 years' relevant consulting engineering experience

Experience in bulk water or wastewater infrastructure

Professional Registration with ECSA

Experience in one or more of the following will be advantageous:

• Bulk water pipelines

• Bulk sewer systems

• Pump stations

• Rising mains

• Reservoirs

• Water distribution systems

• Hydraulic modelling

• Stormwater integration

• Pressure management

• Network optimisation

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design bulk water and wastewater conveyance systems.

• Perform hydraulic modelling and network analysis.

• Prepare technical reports and tender documentation.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Support construction and commissioning.

• Liaise with clients and contractors.

• Mentor graduate and junior engineers.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic design

• Pump selection

• Surge analysis (advantageous)

• Civil design

• Reinforced concrete structures

• Trenchless technologies

• Infrastructure rehabilitation
