POSITION INFO

Your Role: As a Tax Associate , you'll support the preparation of tax filings and bookkeeping while ensuring clients receive accurate, timely, and professional service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build expertise in tax within a collaborative and technology-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare Making Tax Digital (MTD) quarterly updates and annual returns. Prepare Personal Tax Returns. Process financial information received from clients and third parties. Reconcile Xero transactions and accounting data. Assist with bookkeeping and tax compliance engagements. Communicate with clients regarding tax and financial information. Ensure accurate, confidential handling of client data. Collaborate with colleagues to meet client deadlines. Assist with ad-hoc tax and finance projects. Requirements: 1-2 years' experience in an accounting or tax environment is advantageous. Exposure to bookkeeping or tax compliance is beneficial. Good numerical and analytical skills. Experience with Xero and Microsoft Excel is advantageous but not essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A genuine interest in building a career in tax and accounting.
