Junior Civil Engineer - Secunda

Our client, a leading consulting engineering firm based in Secunda, is looking to appoint a Junior Civil Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Civil Engineer to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced professionals on a diverse range of projects.

In this role, you will support senior engineers with the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects, contributing to every stage of the project lifecycle while developing your technical and professional expertise.

Requirements:

• BTech/ BSc Civil Engineering (minimum non-negotiable).
• 1 - 4 years’ relevant experience in a consulting engineering firm.
• Concrete / steel or civil infrastructure background.

Competencies Required:

• Experience in the industrial environment will be advantageous.
• Intermediate skills for Microsoft Office Suit (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfaction.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical, literacy, and numerical skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
