Specialist - Strategic Organisational Change - 5 months contract

We are looking for a Group Specialist in Strategic Organisational Change to apply deep HR domain and change management expertise to contextualise, design, and operationalise HR product and service-related change across the business. This role supports the HR Book of Work by designing integrated change solutions across product design, process re-imagination, technology enablement, digitalisation, service delivery model operationalisation, and cross-stakeholder people change — applied across single/multi stakeholder groups, cluster/cross-cluster, internal/external, and multi-segment workforce contexts.
Strategic Organisational Change
- Leverage commercial, business, workforce, and change management expertise to build trusted strategic partnerships across the value chain
- Translate elements of the Human Capital strategy and product/service visions into an integrated change and communications approach
- Engage a broad range of stakeholders — leaders, users, line managers, employees, HR product owners, shared services, and cluster HR teams — to facilitate change solutioning
- Apply critical thinking, design thinking, and solution design to build multi-channel change solutions (branding, communications, training, engagement platforms, technology, process facilitation, change coalitions)
- Define and measure "what good looks like" before, during, and after change, with a focus on experience, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Build strong cross-enterprise relationships to influence and translate change initiatives into meaningful business results, including shifts in mindset and behaviour
- Apply systems thinking to identify broader organisational implications of change
- Shift change management beyond communication campaigns toward sustainable, stakeholder-led change
- Coach and build change management capability across stakeholder groups over time
- Use data and insights to continuously pivot change solutions for business impact
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of change management practices
Delivery Management & Embedment
- Lead scoping, planning, prioritisation, and implementation of people change for products/services
- Assess organisational change readiness with product and service teams
- Assess embedment of change in programs/projects and mitigate gaps
- Identify and mitigate people change risk throughout the change process
- Monitor and report on performance and impact of change solutions across workforce segments
Finance, Risk & Governance
- Demonstrate business and commercial impact of change strategies and initiatives
- Input into business case change assumptions and track change spend against budget
- Identify and mitigate product/service change risk
- Ensure alignment with defined Group and Regulatory standards
- Manage alignment to organisational risk and governance frameworks
- Deliver change interventions on time and on budget
People
- Coach and mentor peers, product owners, and leaders on change enablement
- Conduct peer reviews, testing, and problem-solving across change initiatives
- Support frontline change teams as a subject matter expert
- Agile/growth mindset (Agile/Scrum exposure)
- Relevant Bachelor's degree (or studying toward one) in Humanities/Commerce-related field
- 5–8 years' experience delivering people change initiatives with a proven track record of sustainable business, behaviour, and mindset impact
- Experience supporting Enterprise HR products/services (people, process, systems); digital business models and agile transformation experience preferred
- Proven track record of execution, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation at all levels
- Strong commercial/strategic partnering, diagnostic, and analytical capabilities
- Strong communications design and execution skills, including strategic change narrative writing
- Deep HR and change management expertise; workforce experience transformation exposure preferred
- Bonus: Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, or SAFe SM/PO certifications
- Experience facilitating design thinking/solutioning sessions with varied audiences, including senior leadership
- Ability to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Strong collaborator, able to work independently
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment
