Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth by actively identifying, engaging, and converting potential customers into clients, while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term retention and repeat business.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Sales Revenue & Growth: Develop and execute strategic district sales plans in coordination with Branch and Sales Managers to consistently achieve monthly and annual premium targets.
- Market Development: Lead field marketing campaigns, public activations, and build strong relationship networks with local societies, employers, and community leaders.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Recruit new policyholders while executing retention strategies to minimize policy lapses and improve account value through cross-selling.
- Customer Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service, quickly resolving or escalating complaints to improve overall client satisfaction and referral rates.
- Administration & Compliance: Ensure all sales strictly follow financial regulatory standards, submit timely performance reports, and coordinate daily with the Credit Control Office for payment confirmations.
- Team Leadership: Maintain an in-depth understanding of competitor products and provide quarterly product training to your team of Sales Consultants.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Sales, Marketing, and Business Management.
- Added Advantage: A combined Degree across all three fields.
- Minimum of two (2) years of active working experience in sales.
- Proven knowledge and experience in data collection.
- High level of agility, reporting ability, and a people-oriented personality.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
