Senior Enterprise Architect (Month to Month in Cape Town

We are sourcing for a Senior Enterprise Architect role.

Key Performance Areas

• Evaluates an organization's technological infrastructure, business processes, or workforce maturity against desired strategic goals.
• Maps current business operations against supporting IT systems to reveal architectural redundancies and optimize enterprise services for improvement.
• Produce improvement and Platform assessment and optimization report with recommendations.
• Document transition plan to the target state for the recommendations provided.
• Governance implementation within the organisation.

Key Architecture Design & Development Requirements

Information Systems Architecture development requirements required

• Business Architecture Maps the organization's current and future state business models, value streams, processes, and operating structures.
• Data Architecture (how data is managed, stored, and integrated).
• Application Architecture (the software systems used to automate the business processes).
• Technology Architecture - Define the underlying software, hardware, cloud infrastructure, and security platforms needed to support the information systems

Strategic Alignment

• Bridges the gap between business goals and technology capabilities
• Translating business objectives into technology blueprints and roadmaps

Infrastructure Design

• Designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT architectures.

Standardization & Governance

• Establishing policies and frameworks to ensure different departments and software solutions don't operate in isolated "silos".]

Qualifications and Experience

• NQF Level 7/8 Bachelor’s degree / Postgraduate studies in Commerce and Business Operations or equivalent.
• The Open Group
• Architecture Framework (TOGAF)/ Government- Wide Enterprise Architecture Framework or other equivalent certification in Enterprise Architecture (i.e. CEAP)
