A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their son

Area: Ruimsig

Children’s Ages: 8 year old (Grade 3) – Boy

Working hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 13:30 – 17:30 and Wednesday and Friday 13:00 – 17:00

School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible

Duties: Collect from school, take them to any extra murals, appointments or lessons, assist and oversee homework is done, prepare a light snack or meal, educational play and games and ensure bags are packed for the next day. Mom does travel for work occasionally and may require ad hoc morning drop offs if the candidate does

Special Requirements: Someone mature and responsible, non-smoker, prior au pair or working with children experience, someone with their first aid would be ideal or willing to obtain this.

Start Date and contract term: August – permanent

Salary: R10 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

****Must have a clear criminal record

****Must have a passion for children

****Must have Matric

****Must have a South African ID document.
