Testamentary Consultant
As a Testamentary Consultant, you are a representative meeting with clients at a time and place convenient for them. The role provides the required advice to set up a valid, tailored will to suit all the client's testamentary needs and wishes. This role also uses the Legacy Protection Plan Explorer to identify the legal expenses that a client's beneficiaries can expect to pay when the person passes away. Once identified, it provides clients with suitable solutions from our unique Legacy Protection Plan.

Roles and responsibilities
- Identify and analyse clients' needs in terms of their will and estate.
- Identify shortfalls in clients’ deceased estates and offer suitable options from our unique Legacy Protection Plan.
- Do an LPP Explorer calculation for each client you meet.
- Advise clients on the recommended LPP for their needs.
- Amend wills according to client requests and in line with the standards set out in your Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Administration, including feedback and follow-up with clients.
- Responsibility for your diary and honouring all bookings. Should you need to move a booking, you will only be allowed to do this with your Team Leader’s consent.
- You are required to attend all official meetings, as and when scheduled.
What we look for in our ideal candidate
Education And Experience Requirements
- Matric
- NQF5 qualification prescribed by the FSCA (6 years from DOFA)
- FAIS compliant
- RE5 – or in progress of attaining RE5
- Prior sales experience will be advantageous but not essential
- Valid RSA driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- Not FAIS Compliant? No RE5? But keen to work in the industry? You're welcome to send in an application and we will consider it.
