Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote working environment while supporting operations based in Gauteng

POSITION INFO

This opportunity is ideally suited to a CA(SA) with 2-3 years' post-qualification experience who thrives in a dynamic, high-volume environment and enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a business generating significant annual revenue and be comfortable managing the financial complexities associated with a large transaction and invoicing environment, including processing and reviewing more than 2,000 invoices monthly . The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions through accurate reporting, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls Support the preparation of annual financial statements and external audits Oversee and support high-volume invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decision-making Job Experience & Qualifications: CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable) 2-3 years' post-qualification experience Proven experience within a large revenue-generating business Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing high-volume invoicing environments with 2,000+ invoices per month Strong understanding of financial reporting, IFRS, and financial controls Experience within manufacturing, chemicals, engineering, or related industries advantageous Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities Ability to work independently within a remote environment and manage deadlines effectively Advance your finance career within an innovative organisation that values accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement while offering the flexibility of a remote working structure.
