Construction Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the successful delivery of construction projects across the Western Cape. This opportunity is ideal for a driven construction professional with extensive project management experience, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from commencement through to successful completion
• Develop, monitor, and update project programmes and construction schedules
• Control project budgets, procurement, and cost performance
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and the professional team
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, extension of time notifications, and claims
• Oversee quality assurance processes and material testing
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Mentor and develop site personnel while fostering a high-performance culture

Requirements

• Registered as a Pr.CM with SACPCMP
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field
• Qualification in Health, Safety and Environment Management will be advantageous
• 8–10 years' relevant construction experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role
• Proven experience on multi-storey residential projects
• Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
