Site Agent / Construction Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Agent / Construction Manager to join their KwaZulu-Natal team. This opportunity is ideal for a driven civil construction professional with extensive roads and infrastructure experience who can confidently lead projects from planning through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day execution of roads and civil infrastructure projects
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, and plant resources
• Monitor project programmes, budgets, quality, and productivity
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and project documentation
• Manage contractual obligations and project risks
• Drive efficient project delivery while maintaining high construction standards

Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering
• Approximately 10 years' experience in roads and civil infrastructure construction
• Experience as a Site Agent, Construction Manager, or in a similar leadership role
• Registration with ECSA and/or SACPCMP will be advantageous
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to manage projects independently and deliver results under pressure
