We are currently seeking a Electrical Technician. At Park Inn by Radisson Polokwane, we are in search of individuals who go beyond the resume – those with character, skills, talents, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. As a Electrical Technician, you play a vital role in ensuring our properties deliver an experience beyond expectation, creating memorable moments for our guests.

• Our property maintenance team is committed to ensuring everything works as it should, to deliver an experience that is beyond expectation - creating memorable moments for our guests. It’s far more than changing a light bulb!
• Our Maintenance team love to fix things! You will supervise our Maintenance Assistants and lead by example to be a master multitasker, a fixer, and a doer with the tools to keep our hotels looking top notch.
• As an integral part of the team, you will work proactively to ensure guest satisfaction, health and safety compliance, and the smooth running of the property maintenance department

As Electrical Technician, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering incredible service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in all that we do!

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Likes having fun at work.
• Experience in a similar position is beneficial
• Safely install wiring, control systems, lighting, and electrical panels
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing electrical infrastructures to avoid hazards and downtime
• Adhere strictly to the National Electrical Code (NEC) or regional equivalents (such as the South African SANS 10142) and all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations
