Manage

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in staff management, financial control, marketing, and compliance. The role also carries direct responsibility for guest satisfaction, event coordination (including functions, weddings, conferences, and photoshoots), facility upkeep, and driving revenue growth through innovative packages and promotions across all services.

Detailed Responsibilities

Guesthouse Operations

• Supervise room allocations, housekeeping schedules, and guest comfort.
• Ensure Wi-Fi connectivity, shuttle service punctuality, parking availability, and sauna readiness.

Dictionaries& Encyclopedias

Security Management

• Oversee security staff, CCTV monitoring, and access control for rooms, the hall, pool, and parking areas.
• Implement emergency protocols and guest safety measures.

Food and Beverage Management

• Direct restaurant menu planning, bar offerings, and coffee service.
• Monitor food quality, hygiene, and service efficiency.
• Coordinate special dining requirements for functions and poolside service.

Facilities Oversight

• Ensure the hall is prepared for events.
• Ensure the pool is clean, safe, and operational.
• Oversee maintenance of sauna facilities.
• Ensure shuttle vehicles are serviced and available.
• Guarantee all facilities meet guest expectations.

Event Coordination

• Plan and coordinate weddings, conferences, and photoshoots.
• Liaise with clients and manage event logistics.
• Oversee catering, décor, and technical support requirements.

Financial Management

• Track revenue streams from rooms, restaurant operations, bar services, events, and facilities.
• Control operational costs.
• Manage payroll processes.
• Prepare financial reports and performance analyses.

Staff Leadership

• Recruit, train, and supervise staff across reception, housekeeping, bar, restaurant, security, and shuttle services.
• Conduct performance evaluations.
• Foster teamwork and a positive work environment.

Marketing and Sales

Develop promotional packages highlighting the guesthouse’s full range of services, including:

• Spa massage treatments.
• Sauna retreats.
• Poolside events.
• Shuttle-inclusive stays.
• Photoshoot packages.
• Manage online presence and social media campaigns.
• Develop partnerships to attract a diverse clientele.

Compliance

• Ensure adherence to hospitality regulations.
• Maintain food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hotel or guesthouse management.
• Proven track record in managing multi-service hospitality facilities.
• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and multi-department management skills.
• Strong financial and operational management abilities.
• Event planning and coordination expertise.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of hospitality regulations and facility management.
