Duties: Manage the daily operations of the wholesale retail store, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organised environment Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentation Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations Oversee opening and closing procedures Drive sales growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies Analyse sales reports to identify opportunities for improvement Monitor market trends and competitor activities Promote value-added services and customer loyalty initiatives Build and sustain long-term relationships with wholesale and trade clients Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve complaints professionally Ensure staff provide knowledgeable product advice Manage stock ordering, replenishment, and conduct regular stock counts Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions to minimise shrinkage Oversee receiving and dispatch processes to ensure accuracy Requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail management or logistics Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent sales and customer service orientation Good understanding of stock control and inventory management Ability to analyse sales data and market trends Knowledge of health and safety standards Familiarity with the following: Retail operations Stock management and shrinkage control Customer relationship management Benefits: Medical Aid Contribution Provident Fund Contribution This role offers a competitive salary ranging from R25,000 to R30,000 per month (Cost to Company), with flexibility for negotiation.
