SFG Engineering is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Cape Town and Johannesburg for the position of IT Systems Administrator.

This opportunity is exclusively open to candidates currently residing in either Cape Town or Johannesburg. In line with our client’s local recruitment requirements, only candidates residing in Cape Town or Johannesburg who meet the minimum requirements will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain servers, networks, and IT infrastructure
  • Perform system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Monitor system performance, security, and network availability
  • Provide technical support to users across multiple departments
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
  • Maintain accurate IT infrastructure documentation
  • Ensure systems are secure, up to date, and operating efficiently

Minimum Requirements

  • IT qualification or relevant certification
  • Proven experience in systems administration
  • Strong knowledge of networking principles and IT infrastructure
  • Experience with Windows Server environments and Microsoft technologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to support multiple users
