The role also involves managing bar inventory, maintaining cleanliness, handling cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with responsible alcohol service and hygiene standards.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, and other beverages.
• Prepare specialty coffees and adapt offerings for restaurant dining, poolside service, and event functions.
• Engage guests warmly, take orders, and recommend drinks.
• Provide attentive customer service during busy periods and special events.
• Deliver bar and coffee service during weddings, conferences, and photoshoots.
• Coordinate with event planners to meet client expectations.
• Monitor stock levels of beverages, coffee beans, and bar supplies.
• Ensure timely restocking and maintain cleanliness of bar areas.
• Process payments accurately and reconcile daily sales.
• Report any cash discrepancies.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Maintain hygiene standards and comply with safety regulations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cocktails, wines, other beverages, and coffee preparation.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in busy environments, including bars, pool areas, and events.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability skills.
• Certificate in Bartending and/or Barista Training preferred.
• Previous experience in bar or café environments.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the hotel or guesthouse industry.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service standards.
