We are looking for a technically strong and practically minded Associate Consultant to join our consulting team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in reliability engineering, shutdown execution, maintenance work management and spare parts optimisation who wants to expand their impact across multiple industries and sites.

You'll work directly with client operations, maintenance and engineering teams, helping them solve complex asset management challenges and delivering measurable business results.

Minimum Requirements

Essential Experience

  • Engineering degree, BTech, or equivalent technical qualification
  • 4–8 years' experience in maintenance, reliability or asset management
  • Experience in reliability engineering and maintenance optimisation
  • Practical experience with shutdowns and major maintenance events
  • Exposure to spare parts management, materials management or inventory optimisation
  • Experience within mining, manufacturing, utilities, energy or other asset-intensive industries
  • Strong analytical, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally

Advantageous

  • CMRP, IAM, CAMA or similar professional certifications
  • Experience with SAP PM, Hexagon, Maximo, On Key or similar EAM systems
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) facilitation experience
  • Maintenance Plan development and optimisation exposure
  • Power BI or data analytics experience
  • Application of AI in the maintenance management environment
  • Previous consulting and training delivery experience

Duties & Responsibilities

As an Associate Consultant, you will support and lead engagements aimed at improving asset reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance.

  • Spare parts criticality evaluations and inventory optimisation
  • Asset and maintenance management maturity assessments
  • Work management and maintenance process improvement
  • Maintenance Plan development and optimisation
  • EAMS/CMMS optimisation initiatives
  • Facilitation of asset management training sessions
  • Business development and proposal support
