ASSISTANT FOUNDRY MANAGER

Our client in the metal production industry is seeking an experienced Assistant Foundry Manager to join their team. This role is suited to a hands-on and technically strong professional with experience in foundry operations, production management, and leading teams in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will assist with the management of daily foundry operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational efficiencies are maintained. The role will involve supporting production planning, supervising teams, monitoring processes, resolving operational issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant qualification in Metallurgy, Foundry Technology, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in a foundry or heavy manufacturing environment
• Experience in a supervisory or management capacity
• Strong knowledge of foundry production processes and quality control
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
• Ability to work under pressure in a demanding production environment
• Hands-on, organised, and results-driven approach
