Employment Type: Full-Time with Benefits

Contract Duration: Five (5) years fixed-term contract

Grade: D

Number of Positions: Five (5)

Job Summary

Perform routine nursing duties under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse Midwife.

Minimum Qualifications And Requirements

• Certificate in Nursing Assistant.
• Registered with the Lesotho Nursing Council.
• Ability to follow instructions and report appropriately.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and across departments.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing procedures, including checking vital signs, blood pressure, and weight.
• Provide first aid during emergencies.
• Conduct antenatal and postnatal observations.
• Prepare delivery rooms and patients for delivery.
• Provide health education.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
