This opportunity is exclusively open to candidates currently residing in Saldanha. In line with our client’s local recruitment requirements, only candidates residing in Saldanha who meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rigging and lifting operations safely and efficiently
- Inspect lifting equipment, rigging gear, and accessories before use
- Assist crane operators during lifting and positioning activities
- Interpret and follow lifting plans, procedures, and load charts
- Ensure all lifting operations comply with health and safety regulations
- Report defective lifting equipment and unsafe conditions
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Rigging certification or Trade Test
- Proven experience in industrial or construction rigging operations
- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and rigging practices
- Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
