In this role you will be responsible for:

Reporting to the General Manager – Western Mines Kroondal, the incumbent will be responsible for providing a dedicated overall Mining service to Kroondal Championing continuous improvement initiatives Have an exceptional commitment towards ensuring that departmental HSEC objectives are met Ensure that production targets are met according to specified standards, policies, and procedures Effective planning of short- and medium-term production activities to ensure optimum utilization of resources Financial expenditure within agreed parameters Ensure that materials and supplies are available for production processes Maintaining discipline within agreed parameters, policies, and procedures Complying with legal requirements

About you

Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency for Metalliferous Mines 5 Years’ experience in a management position at an underground metalliferous mine Previous trackless mining experience will be advantageous Ability to work successfully as part of a diverse team Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Managing mine team optimization Managing mine employee relations Good communication skills Managing mine administration Strong leadership, managerial and presentation skills Computer literacy (MS Office Suite) Medically fit to work underground
