Are You Someone Who Can
- Meet with clients to gather project requirements; understand and interpret these requirements. Initiate communication with all relevant project stakeholders.
- Create design development REVIT drawings for client approval.
- Be familiar with building codes to ensure all plans follow all relevant regulations.
- Apply space planning standards for different project categories for space optimization of existing areas, day to day churn relocation, new building planning and spaces that are being leased by private occupants.
- Issue project drawing packs to Design and Projects teams for costing and implementation.
- Maintain up to date floor plan drawings across the organization following office moves, additions or changes of any space.
- Deliver exceptional service, adhering to relevant SLA agreements and offering appropriate solutions.
- Participate and contribute to the team culture.
- Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends regarding space, space utilization and how the world of work is evolving.
- Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
Qualification
Matric Certificate with N3 or equivalent Architectural or Interior Design qualification, or 3 to 5 years Space Planning experience.
Experience And Skills
- 3 to 5 Years. Knowledge of Space Planning tools and techniques and the software to support these is essential (REVIT specifically)
- Specialised know-how in conceptualising, planning and implementing Space Planning in large, complex buildings.
- The ability to read architectural plans, visualise and communicate these to other parties is essential. A sound knowledge of fire, safety and government regulations relating to the large corporate environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the building techniques used in construction of corporate buildings.
