Must have a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of proven leadership, recognised expertise in structural mechanics, and familiarity with defence/aerospace standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience with proven technical leadership
• Recognised subject matter expert in a particular discipline — e.g., electromagnetic simulation, structural mechanics or embedded systems
• Strong familiarity with defence and aerospace standards (MIL-STD, STANAG, IEC, ISO)
• Strong track record in novel product design and application of advanced technical solutions to real-world problems.

Computer Literacy

• MS Office (Proficient)
• MATLAB / Python / FEKO / HFSS / CST / Similar simulation and analysis tools (Beneficial)

Responsibilities

• Solves complex challenges with creativity, strategic insight and innovative thinking.
• Lead the design and development of complex technical systems, ensuring that solutions are manufacturable, cost-effective and meet customer requirements.
• Conduct simulations, analyses and testing to validate performance and compliance with engineering and quality standards.
• Implement and maintain tools, methods and metrics to monitor technical progress.
• Mentorship and growth of engineers and technicians.
