Our client is seeking an AI Analytics Internal Auditor to play a critical role in transforming internal audit through data-driven intelligence, predictive analytics, and innovative AI solutions. POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support AI models that enhance audit processes, risk assessment, and business decision-making. Identify business risks and develop analytics solutions to address control weaknesses and operational inefficiencies. Execute data analytics projects and audit engagements using advanced analytical techniques. Develop and maintain dashboards, visualisations, and reports that provide actionable business insights. Design, build, and optimise ETL processes and data models to support audit activities. Collaborate with audit teams and stakeholders to integrate analytics into audit methodologies. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Monitor and enhance the performance of analytics and AI solutions across the business. Document methodologies, processes, and analytical frameworks in line with governance requirements. Stay current with emerging AI, analytics, and business intelligence technologies to drive innovation. Job Experience and Skills Required Education: Matric (Grade 12). Degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Informatics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 6 years of professional experience. At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst. Minimum 1 year of experience developing or implementing AI solutions. Experience within Internal Audit, Risk, Governance, or Assurance environments would be advantageous. Exposure to Insurance, Reinsurance, or Underwriting environments is highly beneficial. Demonstrated experience delivering analytics projects and business intelligence solutions. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proven ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and DAX. Experience with data analytics and scripting tools such as Python, R, IDEA, or similar technologies. Strong knowledge of data analysis, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data visualisation. Experience developing dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into business recommendations. Sound understanding of risk management, controls, and audit methodologies.
