Our client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Manager who will oversee all aspects of the company’s technology infrastructure and operations.

You will be responsible for managing external service providers, ensuring the company's database and software are up to date, implementing robust IT security and backup protocols, and representing the company in key industry forums like DDEX and CISAC.

As the IT Business Manager, you will play a key role in the international music industry by supporting a multiterritorial digital licensing hub for music and VOD streaming.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage relationships with all external IT service providers, including back-office processing companies and the email/data storage provider. Negotiate contracts, monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensure performance and quality standards are met, and act as the primary point of contact for technical issues between the organisation and its partners. Manage the company's proprietary database and work with the external development company to ensure optimal performance and functionality. Stay informed about new software developments and industry trends, recommend and implement upgrades that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. Ensure all software and systems are regularly updated and patched to maintain security and performance. Review, implement, and manage comprehensive IT security policies and procedures to protect company data, including robust backup and disaster recovery plans. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments and oversee the integrity and security of the company's internal data storage. Collaborate with the back-office processing provider to ensure the implementation of and adherence to CISAC rules and standards for royalty distribution, processing, and statement generation. Represent the organisation at DDEX, ensuring data processes and reporting standards align with new industry protocols and guidelines. Advise the Executive on technology investments and developments in a timely manner. Lead and manage all IT-related projects from conception to completion, including system integrations, software rollouts, and infrastructure upgrades. Provide strategic IT guidance to the Executive and company leadership. Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day IT issues.  Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in IT management, preferably within the digital media, music, or entertainment industry. Strong technical knowledge of database management, network administration, and IT security best practices. Familiarity with Streaming, DDEX and CISAC standards and their application in royalty processing and digital rights management will be an added advantage. Excellent programming, communication, negotiation, and project management skills. Experience working in a development team, with external development teams and third-party service providers.
