As a Server Engineer, you'll become part of a collaborative Infrastructure team responsible for maintaining the critical systems that keep the business running. Duties: Administering and maintaining enterprise Windows Server infrastructure. Managing Active Directory, Group Policy and identity services. Supporting Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online and Hybrid environments. Administering Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online. Supporting Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud services. Managing VMware virtualisation environments. Supporting SAN storage and enterprise backup environments. Monitoring infrastructure performance and capacity. Troubleshooting complex server, authentication and application issues. Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. Working closely with developers and application support teams to resolve infrastructure issues. Maintaining infrastructure documentation and operational standards. Participating in after-hours support and planned maintenance where required. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years' experience within enterprise infrastructure engineering. Strong Windows Server administration experience. Active Directory and Group Policy administration. Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Hybrid experience. Microsoft 365 administration. VMware vSphere administration. Azure infrastructure exposure. Strong troubleshooting skills across enterprise environments. Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Messaging Administrator certification Microsoft 365 Administrator certification VMware Certified Professional (VCP) ITIL Foundation Security+, SC-300 or SC-200 Financial Services industry experience Skills & Competencies: Strong technical troubleshooting skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently Strong customer service orientation High attention to detail Excellent planning and organisational ability Calm under pressure Strong documentation skills Team player Continuous improvement mindset If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
