Braun Management

Date: 3 days ago
City: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Contract type: Full time
Remote

Braun Management works with executive teams to solve organizational problems that have become too internal for teams to fix themselves. We focus on restructuring and clarifying decision rights when internal committees or growth strategies have stalled.

The role

We are currently supporting a South African client who manages a complex set of business operations, and we require a Junior Digital Project Coordinator to assist with the administrative and logistical management of this project. This role exists to ensure that every task, document, and timeline associated with the engagement is tracked with absolute precision. In this position, you will support our senior consultants by managing the digital infrastructure of the project, ensuring that no detail is lost as we navigate the client's structural challenges. This is a fully remote position that requires a disciplined approach to independent work.

In this role

  • Update and maintain project timelines to ensure that all internal tasks for the South African management engagement remain on schedule.
  • Draft clear and concise weekly status summaries for the consulting team based on current project data and milestones.
  • Maintain the project digital filing system, ensuring that all client evidence and research materials are filed according to our structural standards.
  • Take substantive, detailed notes during remote meetings and distribute them to the relevant team members within 24 hours.
  • Follow up with team members regarding pending action items and update the project dashboard accordingly.
  • Coordinate remote meeting schedules across different time zones to facilitate smooth communication between our team and the client.
  • Assist in the preparation of project presentations by proofreading for consistency and logical flow.
  • Flag any potential scheduling conflicts or missing documentation to the project lead before they cause delays.

What we are looking for

  • A high level of comfort with digital organizational tools and a willingness to learn our specific project management software.
  • Clear, professional writing skills with the ability to summarize complex information into essential points.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an interest in how complex business systems are organized.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of accountability.
  • A professional and grounded demeanor, especially when documenting sensitive organizational friction or restructuring efforts.
  • Curiosity about management consulting and the mechanics of corporate governance.
  • The capacity to follow established processes while identifying where organizational documentation could be improved.

How we work

Braun Management is a fully remote organization that prioritizes written clarity over verbal shortcuts. We believe that the most effective consulting work is rooted in documentation and evidence, rather than flashy presentations. Because our team works across various locations, we rely on asynchronous communication and rigorous note-taking to keep everyone aligned. Our culture is professional and direct: we value honesty and the ability to address difficult structural truths without the use of filler or jargon. You will have the autonomy to manage your own workspace while remaining an integral part of our research and coordination efforts.

What the role offers

  • A permanent, full-time position with a focus on professional development in the management consulting field.
  • A competitive salary that is attractive for an entry-level professional and reflects the market for remote project coordination.
  • The flexibility of a fully remote work arrangement, allowing you to manage your professional tasks from your own environment.
  • Direct exposure to international consulting projects and complex organizational problem-solving.
  • A structured and predictable work environment where clear communication is the highest priority.
  • The opportunity to gain experience in high-level administrative coordination and evidence-backed reporting.

Your work as a Junior Digital Project Coordinator provides the structural support our consultants need to help the client overcome operational friction. By maintaining a clear, updated record of our progress and documentation, you allow the team to focus on the objective analysis required for successful restructuring. This role is essential for ensuring that our South African client receives the precision and accountability that Braun Management is known for.
