Senior Site Agent - Building Construction

Our client has an opportunity for an accomplished Senior Site Agent to oversee the successful delivery of building projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality construction projects while maintaining strict safety and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinate labor, subcontractors, equipment, and construction resources.
• Ensure projects are completed in accordance with programme, budget, and quality objectives.
• Enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance on site.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Resolve technical and operational issues efficiently.
• Foster productive relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in site management on building construction projects.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, quality assurance, and health and safety legislation.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a demanding project environment.
