SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced

Roadfreight Crossborder Controller to manage and coordinate cross‑border logistics operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with customs regulations, maintain service excellence, and drive operational efficiency in a fast‑paced freight forwarding environment.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage cross‑border roadfreight movements into and out of South Africa. Ensure compliance with customs documentation and regulatory requirements. Liaise with transporters, clearing agents, and clients to ensure smooth cargo flow. Monitor and track shipments, providing accurate updates to stakeholders. Prepare and process invoices, costings, and operational reports. Resolve queries and discrepancies promptly to maintain client satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with clients and service providers. Ensure adherence to SOPs and service level agreements. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of cross‑border logistics and customs procedures. Excellent communication and client service skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Proficiency in freight forwarding systems. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Problem‑solving and negotiation skills. Requirements Minimum Grade 12 / Matric. 3-5 years' experience in cross‑border roadfreight operations within clearing & forwarding. Solid understanding of customs clearance processes and documentation. Experience in freight forwarding or logistics essential. Computer literacy (MS Office; CargoWise preferred). Valid driver's licence.
