POSITION INFO

Our client is an established and growing logistics and road freight specialist known for delivering reliable, high-quality transport solutions across South Africa. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, self-motivated Transport Broker to secure profitable new freight opportunities and expand our transporter network. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will have the flexibility of working remotely with full operational and administrative support to back your growth. Key Responsibilities Identify, develop, and secure new profitable freight opportunities Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to grow revenue and gross profit Source and expand our approved third-party transporter network Coordinate and manage the end-to-end transport process, from initial inquiry to final delivery Prepare accurate, professional quotations, rate schedules, and customer proposals Maintain up-to-date documentation, operational correspondence, and transporter records Requirements Proven track record as a Transport Broker or in a similar commercial role within the South African road freight industry An existing, active network of transport clients and/or reliable transporters High level of administrative accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Good computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Attributes Commercially driven, highly motivated, and target-oriented Proactive " hunter " mentality with a strong sense of personal accountability Highly self-disciplined and comfortable working independently without supervision Resilient, professional, and passionate about outstanding customer service Remuneration R20 000 gross per month, monthly cellphone allowance, company laptop and highly attractive, performance-linked commission Please note that only Shortlisted candidates will be contacted
