About The Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic South African English accents to take part in paid in-studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.

This is a short-term contract role involving a small number of sessions. Your voice won't be cloned — you'll simply be helping AI systems learn to understand natural, human South African English speech.

What You'll Do

• Record natural, conversational South African English speech in a professional studio environment
• Participate in solo single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
• Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue that feels unscripted and natural
• Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery as needed
• Bring your authentic South African English accent to every session

Who You Are

• A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with recording experience
• A native or near-native South African English speaker with an authentic regional accent
• Comfortable performing natural conversational speech — not just scripted reads
• Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
• Currently based in South Africa

Nice to Have

• Acting or performance background
• Experience in broadcast, podcast, or commercial studio recording
• Comfort with dialogue-based and improvisational delivery styles
