SUMMARY

Our client, a well-established automotive dealership in Polokwane, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Sales Manager. The Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the new and/or used vehicle sales department to achieve sales targets, maximize profitability, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive the overall performance of the dealership's sales team.

POSITION INFO

Description: Manage and lead the vehicle sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase vehicle sales and market share. Monitor sales performance and provide coaching, training, and support to sales executives. Ensure optimal stock management and vehicle turnover. Drive gross profit and profitability within the department. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and customer retention. Handle escalated customer queries and complaints professionally. Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership customer service standards. Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the sales team. Conduct regular performance reviews and sales meetings. Foster a high-performance sales culture within the dealership. Manage departmental budgets and expenses. Monitor sales profitability, gross profit, and financial performance. Work closely with the F&I department to maximize finance and insurance penetration. Operational Management Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). Relevant sales or business qualification will be advantageous. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in automotive vehicle sales management. (Preferable with a Premium Brand) Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Experience managing a team of Vehicle Sales Executives.
